Terms and Conditions

1. General

By submitting a repair request or placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

We may update these terms at any time without prior notice.

All goods remain the property of HJ Catering Solutions until full payment is received.  

2. Services Provided

We provide specialist electronic repair services and supply products designed for commercial catering environments.

Services include, but are not limited to, bump bar repairs, as listed in our product catalogue.  

If an item is found to be unrepairable, it will be returned to you free of charge.  


3. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must ensure all items sent to us are securely packaged. We are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging.  
  • You are responsible for ensuring any product or repaired item is installed correctly and safely.
  • Misuse, modification, or unauthorised installation may void any warranty or support.  
  • It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any relevant operational or safety standards within your business.


4. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are due within 30 days of receipt.
  • Payment is made by bank transfer (details provided on the invoice).
  • Late payments may incur interest or administrative fees.  


5. Shipping & Returns

  • Prepaid postage is provided for repair services unless stated otherwise.
  • Shipping charges for product purchases are listed per item in the catalogue.  
  • We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party couriers, but we will support you with claims where possible.
  • Returns are not accepted for made-to-order items or repair services unless agreed in writing.  


6. Liability

  • We are not liable for faults or damage resulting from incorrect installation or unauthorised modifications of any product or repaired item.  
  • All products are intended for use in commercial kitchen or hospitality settings.
  • We are not responsible for any operational downtime, loss of revenue, or indirect damages resulting from equipment failure or delays.


7. Warranty

Unless otherwise stated, repaired items include a basic functionality guarantee at the time of return.

This does not cover misuse, external damage, incorrect installation, or wear over time.
